I had the pleasure of attending the IT Masterclass over the course of two days. He has a excellent, very structured approach to how a recruiter should look on an IT Department and what knowledge we need (and don't). Highly charismatic, High-energy kind of personality that showcases why IT is so exciting. He mixes the more dry content with a lot of storytelling to keep people interested. I was especially impressed how he managed to engage a class of people with varying knowledge (ranging from 1 Month in Tech/Tech-Recruitment up to 4 years). Left the course much smarter than before, which I'd say counts as mission accomplished. Would and will recommend!

I want to say a massive thank you to Ayub Shaikh for a phenomenal 2 days MASTERCLASS across the Technology industry in our Hays Birmingham office. I have been a technology recruiter for nearly 17 years in mostly "client interfacing" roles, e.g. sales, solutions consultants, et al. My SLA is traditionally a 3:1 submits to placement ratio, sometimes even less. Oftentimes, however, I get brought into high-urgency delivery roles. Some of the basics such as functional vs. core made sense. But, all the different acronyms and lexicons made absolutely no sense. It would take me at least 20 submits to get a hire.
I just finished Ayub Shaikh's online training course and could not stop from taking enough notes. I use a term, "Fisher Price", to explain things in small bites with real-life examples that one can relate to. Ayub does exactly that.
Whether you're new to recruiting or even an old salt that would like to feel a renewed sense of what they contribute to the recruiting world; I could not recommend Ayub any stronger.

Having extensive experience from the project life cycle perspective from the Waterfall to DevOps, I could relate to and learn from the clear explanation in each stage of this software development evolution.
Furthermore, it was a good learning experience to understand how DevOps is helping modernize software development today.

I attended part one of the Holistica IT Recruitment Master Class and cannot praise the quality of the content or the style of delivery enough. Having done IT recruitment for a couple of years (without any formal training) I initially expected a long, boring day but a useful little ‘gap filler’.
It is so much more.
On top of a fantastically well thought out programme that genuinely earns its "master class" title, Ayub is a man with a seemingly infinite capacity for highly amusing anecdotes and fascinating titbits that really breathe life into the course material – and all of this is delivered with a wide-eyed passion and theatrical enthusiasm that sweeps the audience along at an excellent pace whilst being sure never to leave anyone behind.
On the strength of part one of the course I bought the accompanying book (also brilliant, and within whose pages lurks the pure IT geek underneath the polished delivery of the lecturer), and myself and the other delegates in attendance (ranging from seasoned recruiters to totally green resourcers) are pushing for a date for part two.
Highly, highly recommended for beginners and experienced recruiters alike.
